Ready to travel Italy via the glass?

We are inviting you to join our year closing event - an Italian wine and food pairing where we will travel through Italy from north to south and learn about the diverse taste profile of this ancient wine (and food!) country! A classy way to start celebrating Christmas!

We will taste 6 wines coming from different regions of Italy and made from local, indigenous grape varieties.

2. Edmund Mach Nosiola 'Vigneto delle Dolomiti' - from Trentino
3. Praesidium Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Superiore - from Abruzzo
4. Sottoilnoce Franzes Lambrusco frizzante - from Emilia-Romagna
5. Agri Segretum Cru HTH Sagrantino Umbria - from Umbria
6. Luigi Tecce Taurasi 'Puro Sangue' Riserva - from Taurasi, Campania

Come to taste some seriously rare wines that you can't find in local retail!

As for the food, be sure to come hungry and rely on Al Bacaro - an Italian Osteria in the heart of Amsterdam where the essence of the dish is in its’ ingredients. Al Bacaro is an authentic Italian family run restaurant with delicate and refined “cuisine” where all the products are sourced according to the season, their lifecycle and life span. Vezio, the chef at Al Bacaro, will prepare a 6-course pairing menu to match the wines!

The menu will be shared with each participant before the event to ensure we can accommodate any allergies or preferences!
